You can read the fairy tale if you click on the image and make it bigger. And should you feel you can't read it, it is reproduced below in three parts, which you can click and read. And fresh off the press is a "proof" of this fairy tale: click here.

  1. And as all fairy tales have happy endings....all the politicians lived happily ever on the peaks of the swiss mountains they bought (they did walk a bit funny ;) with the taxpayers' money the pinched when all that the people who were left behind could ask them was..."We're sorry but did our backs hurt your knife?" (to borrow this line from the TV series FRIENDS"

  2. To quote Sir Winston Churchill:
It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried.
And whilst I agree with your rather dark view of politics we must all try to find a way to make democracy work.
Here in the UK many of our politicians have proven themselves to be thieving rogues but some appear to be straight; and we must encourage the rest to be.
India is the world's biggest democracy; one day not too far away it may well be the world's most important democracy - let's hope it's politicians can keep clean and not shame it.

  3. As they say in India, "Inshallah!" in optimism and hope.
The biggest ally of a healthy democracy is information. There's a dreadful sequences of events happening in India and this little project aims to share the information in a more interesting way, so that indeed we can truly become an important democracy.
The collusion between companies like Vedanta and the governments, however, isn't helping this process.
And while it's good to hope, the reality must inform the beautiful picture that hope paints.
Thank you for your comments. They indeed give hope that little voices are still being heard amidst all this noise.
